Getting familiar with Livejournal

Well this is my second entry for the day. I'm still trying to get use to how to set things up. Found a couple of friends on here also that I know from AOL and still trying to figure out how to find other friends on here. Sitting in the living room with Michael now watching the "edited" version of "Sixteen Candles" on We and we are both laughing our asses off. We just got to my favorite line in the movie "She getting married to oily bohunk." Something about that line is just so funny to me - I think it is the way Dong says that it. Thank God for DirecTV with TiVO - we watched the conversation between Jake and Dong like FOUR times (over and over and over again). LOL Not like I couldn't just pop the DVD in since we own that also. :-)

I guess I am going to get for now so I can finish watching the movie and then get ready to go bed. If any of you can help me out with how to set things up on here that would be GREAT!!! I would like to put the teddy bear smilies and I was wondering how do you go about searching for people on here using the map feature. Every time I try to that do (search for people with the map) Livejournal is telling me that I have to sign on, but I am already signed on. I don't know what else to do. Any and all help will be GREATLY appreciated. :-)
